With twenty years of business management experience in large corporations, several moves from one country to the other, and  a family raised up far from my home country, I know which challenges an expat can be facing.

There are ways out of situations which seem to be frustrating in the first place. I can help you take a different perspective and accompany you on these new paths.

Professionalism and reliability

Life coaching can be very powerful, but not every situation or case is suitable for life coaching. As a coach with an additional qualification as an alternative practitioner for psychotherapy ("Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie"), I am able to recognize which clients are suitable for coaching and which ones are not. It is then up to me to clarify with you and advise you on which approaches are appropriate and within what framework I can accompany you.

My business career in large companies with teams from very different cultures has strongly influenced my approach to coaching and therapy. Sensitive to individual and ethnic differences, my coaching focuses on your needs, strengths and resources. Thanks to many years of experience in international companies,  I have learned a lot about people from different cultures and backgrounds - including about myself.

As a committed person, I started to deal with the topic of stress management at an early stage. I myself have experienced many coaches and just as many coaching methods. Even those who misjudged my situation at the time (namely a burnout).

Because of this experience, it was particularly important to me to offer coaching with the additional training as an alternative practitioner for psychotherapy, in order to be able to advise my clients adequately from the very beginning.

What to expect

In the first session we get to know each other. You see whether you feel confortable and can open up. On my side, I get to understand your concerns and assess whether and how I can accompany you in this process.

At the end of the session I will give you an assessment of the number of sessions and frequency I would recommend. This remains a recommendation and at the end it remains your own decision.

Life Coaching sessions take place in person in the practice in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.  If you wish, the follow up sessions can happen online.
